Tutor Adrian Wood leads workshops in Blacksmithing in many venues across the North of the country. His courses are always very popular and fill up very quickly.
You will need to wear layers of old clothing as it can be hot work and sensible shoes (not plastic). Safety glasses must be worn and these will be provided along with a thick apron.
4 mobile burners and 7 anvils are set up so everyone can work together.
Basic blacksmithing skills will be taught including how to make points, spirals, shaping into curves, and decorative markings – you will make a key ring and a dragon hook.
The price includes all materials, refreshments with home-baking and a good lunch.
