Come along on this 4 mile (6.4 km) walk in Herriot country and enjoy panoramic views over Upper Wensleydale.  Barns, walls and bridges are important features of Wensleydale and played a crucial part in the development of local industry and agriculture. The walk includes the woodland and waterfalls of Shaw Gill.

The route includes stiles, uneven ground and two short steep climbs.

Walk starts from Dales Countryside Museum, Hawes, DL8 3NT.

Please wear outdoor clothing appropriate for the weather and sturdy footwear with good grips.

Dogs not allowed (assistance dogs welcome but must be able to manage stiles along the route).
