The Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority was awarded a Heritage Lottery Fund grant in 2016 with the aim of strengthening existing tree sparrow populations and establishing new breeding colonies and in the process raising the profile and plight of the tree sparrow.
We are encouraging people to send in sightings of tree sparrows in and around the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
If you would like to help tree sparrows in and around the Yorkshire Dales National Park take a look at the following information for ways to get involved and please get in touch if you need further information.
