The Local Biodiversity Action Plan (LBAP) for the Yorkshire Dales National Park, ‘Nature in the Dales: 2020 Vision’ sets out our aspirations for action between 2010 and 2020, aiming to conserve and enhance the biodiversity within the National Park.
LBAP Trends and Status Review
The Local Biodiversity Action Plan Trends and Status Review is the third and final comprehensive review of progress undertaken by the ‘Nature in the Dales: 2020 Vision’. The first report was published in 2014 and the second in 2017, this new review builds on this work, covering the period 2017-2020.
It includes the results of an extensive programme of survey and monitoring work, undertaken by many different organisations and individuals since 2010. This report details the number of actions and targets due to be implemented between 2017 and 2020, summarising the key achievements in delivering the over-arching actions, and determines whether the two primary 2020 objectives have been reached.
