Planning Officer

  • Two Years Fixed Term Contract

  • From £22,462 to £28,786 per annum

If you are a planning graduate looking for your first position, someone with relevant experience thinking about studying for a planning degree whilst working, or someone wanting to work in an interesting and varied role, then we have an opportunity for you to join our high performing Development Management team.  

We can offer a wide range of development management experience, training and support, as you progress to RTPI membership.  

For this role, you will manage a caseload of planning applications, enquiries and appeals within a supportive team environment. You must be enthusiastic, self-motivated and able to communicate effectively with the public and Members of the Authority.

We are looking for an individual with strong interpersonal skills, who can demonstrate the ability to find solutions and produce accurate, thorough work to a high standard. An interest in rural issues and the environment would be advantageous.
