The Yorkshire Dales National Park boasts some of the most stunning scenery and best opportunities for outdoor recreation in Britain. It will provide an enviable setting for your career. As the National Park Authority, it’s our mission to help people understand, experience and enjoy this beautiful area, whatever their background or ability. You will have a central role in helping us deliver the Government’s 8-point plan for National Parks; encouraging disadvantaged groups to visit the area, improving opportunities for outdoor recreation, and through our volunteers’ service supporting individuals to helps us in our work.

Providing professional advice on a broad spectrum of access and engagement issues, from volunteering, education to recreation, you will develop plans, partnerships and projects working with a wide range of organisations. You will have a proven track record in project management and successful funding bids to support your ideas, as well as a small enthusiastic and committed team to help you deliver our services.

Notably, you will be passionate about the outdoors and enjoy engaging with visitors and local communities, on a wide range of issues and able to hold your own at high profile public events.
