Grassington, December 20, 2005
Visitors will be spoilt for choice when it comes to things to do in the Yorkshire Dales National Park next year.
A whole host of activities indoors and outside has been organised by members of the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority (YDNPA) to make trips to the area even more enjoyable.
The YDNPA’s Outreach Project Officer, Cathy Bennett, said: “We have organised a range of walks for people of all ages so they can enjoy the Dales at their best. There are some old favourites and some new ones to keep everyone interested.
“As always, each route has been carefully picked so that the walkers can have the best views of the countryside in winter. They really are fantastic and well worth the effort.”
The YDNPA-owned Dales Countryside Museum will be bursting with things to see and do including a digital photography course, exhibitions and demonstrations.
And there will be a chance to visit Hurries Farm in Otterburn at lambing time to meet the latest arrivals.
Visitors wanting more information about the activities should phone the contact numbers listed below.
