We can provide a wide range of downloadable education resources packed full of information, illustrations, facts and figures about the Yorkshire Dales National Park for students of all ages, teachers and group leaders.
The Teacher’s Pack aims to provide group leaders with advice on planning a successful study or visit to the National Park.
Education Files cover a wide range of topics, like tourism, conservation, biodiversity, visitor management, rural lifestyles, geology, etc.
Key Stage 3 and GCSE Geography Animated Resources provide the opportunity to discover more about management issues in the Yorkshire Dales National Park using animated graphics as a starting point.
Locality Studies include resources for teaching about the Dales as a locality and some specific Dales locations. Mainly aimed at KS2 groups.
‘Dales Folk?’ is a series of writings based on significant time periods in Dales history, with accompanying teaching resources and an image for each. 'Dales Folk?' asks us to examine our own ideas and opinions, about who Dales folk are. Mainly aimed at KS2 groups.
Habitat Studies provide resources and guidance for studies of some of the significant Dales habitats, such as fresh water, hay meadows and limestone pavement.
