Free stay for National Park visitors
Grassington, 18 June, 2012.
Two visitors have enjoyed a free return visit to the Yorkshire Dales National Park after completing a survey about the welcome they received.
Val and Malcolm Watts enjoyed a bed and breakfast weekend in the Racehorses Hotel in Kettlewell after winning a competition linked to survey cards produced by the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority (YDNPA).
The couple, from Newcastle upon Tyne, filled in the survey card when they visited the Malham National Park Centre and were automatically entered into a prize draw.
Chris Lancaster, the YDNPA’s Centre Manager (South), said: ”The Authority runs the competition each year from its National Park Centres via survey cards that visitors are invited to complete giving their views and comments on our services.
“The aim of the draw is to encourage users of our National Park Centres to help us to improve services by providing feedback of their visit. It also helps to support local businesses in the National Park by providing the lucky winner with an opportunity for another visit and a stay in a bed and breakfast or a hotel of their choice."
