Events and guided walks
There are hundreds of wonderful and diverse events running throughout the year organised by a range of providers to help you get closer to this very special place and make the most of your visit. From stream dipping and bat walks to beer festivals and craft workshops, you're sure to find a way to spend a fun-packed couple of hours - or days.
The National Park Authority runs over 140 guided walks, talks, demonstrations and children's events, including Wild Wednesdays throughout the school holidays.
To start planning your free time in 2013, use the search facility below to find events from the National Park Authority and other event providers. Simply enter dates to search between and press submit.
If you would prefer to have an off-line version of the events listings, you can download the listings from this year's edition of The Visitor newspaper. The events are located on pages 15-25 of the newspaper:
- The Visitor 2013 - pages 1-14
- The Visitor 2013 - pages 15-25 (this file includes the events listings)
- The Visitor 2013 - pages 16-40
Over the coming months we will be developing the events search facility to include more options. If you have any comments about this search or thoughts of how you would like to be able to search for events in the future, please email the National Park Authority's Web Officer at email@example.com.
