Visitor newspaper

Read all about it!

Our annual newspaper, The Visitor, is packed full of features and useful information for anyone wishing to know more about or explore this beautiful part of the world.

And this year is extra special as we celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

The bumper 2014 edition features a special 8-page cycling supplement welcoming the Tour de France Grand D├ępart to Yorkshire - what a birthday present! - and showcasing the fantastic cycling to be found in the Dales.

As well as features about our rich cultural heritage, diverse wildlife and stunning landscape, the newspaper contains a comprehensive What's On event calendar and helpful facts such as the location of information centres, car parks, toilets and cash points. There are evocative descriptions of the different dales and what to do and see and there is a detailed map inside the back cover.

Pick a copy up from National Park Centres, Tourist Information Centres, accommodation providers, and many other outlets in and around the National Park and nationally.
