Visit the Dales

Group volunteering

Are you part of a group who would like to volunteer their time to give something back to the Yorkshire Dales National Park? Maybe a an environmental organisation, a community group or even a charitable organisation?

At the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority we get many requests each year from groups like this wanting to give their time to projects.

Where possible we will try to find projects that fit your group and help us get work we need doing done.

What sort of projects could we do?

Usually projects involve working alongside our Rangers and Dales Volunteers in carrying out maintenance and improvement works on public rights of way. This can quite often be challenging, but really rewarding, where you will get to work in a beautiful location as a team.

How can we arrange a volunteer day?

If your group would like to volunteer for a day please look at our current opportunities page or contact us.
