List 2019 events now to make The Visitor

Bainbridge, 19 November, 2018

Are you running an event in the Yorkshire Dales National Park in 2019?  Would you like it to be listed in the annual what’s-on printed guide, The Visitor?

If so, please register the details on the Park Authority’s free online events calendar – and don’t delay!  Only events uploaded by 3 December will be considered for inclusion in this well-established and much-loved guide.

A total of 125,000 copies of The Visitor 2019 will be printed in January and distributed to local and national Tourist Information Centres and businesses across the region.

Editor Sarah Nicholson said: “Our online events calendar is a great way for local organisations, clubs and individuals to publicise what’s happening and reach the website’s half a million annual users – for free.

“And all 2019 events listed online before 3 December will also be considered for inclusion in The Visitor.  This handy magazine is for people planning their trip to the National Park, as well as visitors who have already arrived and are looking for good things to do.”

An events calendar in various formats has been hosted and managed by the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority for nearly 20 years, while The Visitor has been published since 1981.
