Visit the Dales

Changes to NPC openings this (white) weekend

Bainbridge, 2 March, 2018

“Three out of five of our National Park Centres will be shut this weekend.  Our Centres in Grassington, Malham and Reeth will be closed, as some of our team members are blocked from getting there by the snow and icy roads.  Our Centres in Aysgarth (Coppice Café closed) and Dales Countryside Museum in Hawes (Firebox Café still serving) expect to be open as usual from 10am to 5pm (4pm Aysgarth) on Saturday and Sunday.  The car parks and paths also remain open, but visitors are reminded these are not gritted or cleared of snow. Extra care should be taken and appropriate clothing and footwear worn when visiting the sites.

“The Yorkshire Dales National Park is looking beautiful – as can be seen from this photo of Duerley Beck taken yesterday near Hawes Bridge.”
