A list of candidate RIGS/Local Geological Sites has been drawn up following preparation of a Geodiversity Audit, by the North Yorkshire Geodiversity Partnership project officer. However, due to budget cuts, the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority no longer has the resources to take forward formal designation of those sites.
