Progress update:
The Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority received sixty-three applications from electricty, water, telecommunications and highways authorities or agencies during 2007/08. Ninety-three percent of those were considered acceptable in landscape terms, either as submitted or following negotiated improvements. Seven percent were refused as unacceptably harmful, while an additional five were withdrawn following advice.
