Progress update:
During 2007, North Yorkshire County Council’s Adult Learning Service improved access to a wide range of adult learning opportunities, both vocational and non vocational, through the use of village halls and community access points. The development of learning centres, for example Hudson House and Askrigg, and the provision of the Skills Mobile, a mobile ICT Unit, have also taken learning into the more remote communities in the national park area.
