Progress update:
The Yorkshire Dales and Harrogate Tourism Partnership no longer exists. The National Park Authority is now working with a range of partners including Visit England, Welcome to Yorkshire and the District Councils. The regional visitor survey and data collected from the regional Destination Management System indicates which activities visitors would be interested in to complement and enhance their visit to the Yorkshire Dales. This data will be used to develop packages which match the special qualities of the area to the visitor interests (eg cycle tourism, outdoor adventure).
