Produce digital versions of the three ‘Definitive Maps’ of rights of way covering the Yorkshire Dales by 2011 to make it easier to check and resolve issues around the legal status of routes.

Digital Definitive Maps showing public rights of way (PROW)
The initial detailed digitising of the three definitive maps covering the National Park has now been completed, but before this can be made available to the public considerable checking needs to be done on both the accuracy of the digitising and individual ‘anomolies’ that have been identified.
This process will take sometime and the Authority is still on target to meet the objective within the National Park Management Plan.
