Duke of Edinburgh's Award

GOLD RESIDENTIAL

In August each year the Authority provides a residential opportunity (a practical conservation task-based project) for young people who are working towards their Duke of Edinburgh's Gold Award. The following documents tell you more:

2008 Residential flyer (PDF format)

2008 Residential poster (PDF format)

2008 Brochure and application form:

2008 Consent and Medical Form:

This residential project is run in conjunction with the Open Gold expeditions of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Yorkshire Dales Wild Country Expedition Panel (information appears on the Panel website, which opens in a new window).

In addition to this, a few locally-based requests for the ‘service’ section of the Award may be met, depending on the nature of the activity requested and the candidate’s home location and age. Before making contact, please read our Volunteering update.
