Best of Both Worlds provides and promotes good practice in building consensus between conservationists and recreationalists so that more opportunities for responsible countryside access can be realised.

Best of Both Worlds has been developed on by Natural England, Countryside Council for Wales, CCPR (formerly Central Council of Physical Recreation) and the Environment Agency, Management of the site is also supported by the National Trust.
