'Dales' newspaper
LinkOur newspaper, 'Dales', is produced for the 12,000 residents of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and distributed twice a year.
It reports on the work and projects of the Authority and its partners to care for the wildlife and cultural heritage of this special landscape, and to provide a sustainable future for it and its communities.
The latest autumn 2008 edition looks at the prestigious European Charter for.Sustainable Tourism awarded to the Yorkshire Dales and Harrogate area, and the launch of our new online shop, as well as the small historic features, such as milk churn stands, being logged in the National Park
We also have an update on how we might mitigate and adapt to climate change in the National Park, and what the Authority is doing to put its own house in order.
