Heath Bedstraw

Another name for the plant is Rockstraw. Heath bedstraw is a delicate trailing herb with small white flowers. The leaves of the Bedstraw family are arranged in whorls around the stem. Several species grow in the Dales, all occupying different ecological niches. In the Dales the plant is widespread and can be found on moorland, acid grassland and in woods on acid soils.
