In March 2003, Reeth National Park Centre moved to Hudson House at the top of Reeth's village green.

The National Park Centre houses displays on the lead mining industry and its remains, the hay meadows, walls and barns, and heather moorland unique to Swaledale.

All of the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority's National Park Centres are also networked tourist information centres. They offer a wide range of services, these include a local and national accommodation booking service, sales of maps, books and souvenirs and information for visitors and locals. They even provide daily weather forecasts for the immediate area.

Our National Park Centres help us to promote opportunities for the understanding and enjoyment of the National Park by the general public. The staff working in the Centres have a wealth of knowledge and interesting information about the area.
