The Museum hosts the Yorkshire Dales branch of the Young Archaeologists Club. We have activites once a month on Saturday mornings. In previous years we have had activities including mosaic making, willow weaving, felt making and we had trips out to local sites and even took part in the filming of Time Team.
In 2010 we have enjoyed a programme with a Viking theme: In 2011 we are having a year of medieval activities.
For more information about our branch of the Young Archaeologists Club contact the YAC team
We currently have a membership of 25 young people. If you would like to know more or join the club phone the museum on 01969 666210
There is also lots more information about YAC on the National YAC website.
