Caring for the National Park
This beautiful area of England needs special care to conserve it for future generations.
The Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority and many other organisations and individuals do a great deal of work to care for the National Park to conserve and enhance the natural beauty, wildlife and cultural heritage, promote opportunities for the understanding and enjoyment of its special qualities and to seek to foster the economic and social well-being of local communities.
This section talks about the practical work and projects undertaken to care for the National Park as outlined in the Authority’s Corporate Plan and the Yorkshire Dales National Park Management Plan.
