How to apply

You can apply to the Sustainable Development Fund (SDF) at any time of year as applications are assessed every three months. Obviously there is only a limited amount of cash in the Fund so it is in your own interests to apply as soon as you can.

Our aim is to make the Fund easy to apply to with the minimum amount of ‘red tape’. As with all grants, however, there are some hoops to be jumped through and potential applicants should talk to the SDF Project Officer – Isobel Hall - before submitting an application. Isobel can be contacted on 015242 51002.

We look forward to hearing your ideas!

You can download a copies of the Yorkshire Dales SDF application form (Word and PDF versions are both available) and guidance notes from our Document Libary.

We hope that our guidance notes will answer many of your questions about the Fund. You might also find it useful to read about some of the projects that have been successful in receiving funding so far. To find out more take a look at Current Projects.
